Note of Encouragement: Safety of His Presence

For in the day of trouble He will keep me safe in His dwelling; He will hide me in the shelter of His tabernacle and set me high upon a rock. Psalm 27:5 NIV

There is safety in His Presence. Our secret place with Him is the rock that holds us firm in any storm. In troubled times we shine because we know who our confidence is in. It is not in the world’s economic climate, politics or natural eco systems. It is in our God whose plans for us are good. Our God is the giver of good news. He never looks at a situation and calls it hopeless. He breathes hope and new life into every area where we give up and feel overwhelmed.

When my heart is overwhelmed; lead me to the rock that is higher than I. Psalm 61:2 NKJV

There is safety in His Presence. When we come to Him, He not only provides comfort and safety but He also equips and empowers us. He promises to set us “high upon a rock” (Ps. 27:5). He positions us on His rock of truth. From this place we receive His truth and wisdom for every situation.

If you need to experience His comfort and strength then enter into the safety of His Presence. He will set you high upon a rock, far above every storm and trouble. There you will find His hope and truth.

The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe. Proverbs 18:10 NIV
