His Goodness Revealed“I will sing to the Lord, for He has been good to me”. Psalm 13:6 NIV After creating everything in this world, God looked and saw that it was good. He still only creates good things today! Our lives are a testament to His goodness. God has been, is and will always be good. So how is His goodness revealed? His goodness is revealed through the things He has made. We are an expression of His goodness in the earth. His goodness is seen in the simplicity of a smile, when we stop for the one or show kindness to a stranger. We portray the heart of the Father to a world that is inclined to see the bad. Sometimes however, we also settle to seeing the world and circumstances through a negative eye. It seems so easy to see only the bad and this is often some people’s default setting. We see darkness instead of light and the bad instead of the good. It’s not that we prefer this focus, it’s simply that it’s a well worn path that many travel on. We, like the masses, are often content to follow along the path of drip fed negativity. The truth is that Light always wins over darkness and God still looks at the things He has made and calls them good. Let your heart ponder the magnitude of His goodness towards you. Allow His goodness to be revealed through you today and let's choose to spread some good news! “From the fullness of His grace we have all received one blessing after another”.
