Are you experiencing the grace of God? The God of the Universe, calls us by name, extends His hands and offers us the dance of a lifetime – the gospel of God’s grace. Our lives are like a dance; a partnership with the One who made us. In this partnership, He leads and we follow. Jesus paid the ultimate price so we could come close, be reconciled to Him and then partner with Him here on earth.
By the grace of God, we have access to the Father and can draw close to Him. He does not offer salvation and then leave us to our own devices. God’s grace bridges the gap between our poor performance and God’s perfect standard. 2 Timothy 1:9 says that God has “saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began” (2 Tim. 1:9NKJV).
The grace of God is a free gift we cannot possibly earn. It is only by God’s mercy we can come close to Him. God welcomes us with open arms, brings us close and calls us to a life of purpose and partnership with Him. Receiving the grace of God does not mean we now watch life from the sidelines. The gospel of God’s grace compels us into action and purpose – a life of stepping out and partnering with Him.
Partnering with our Creator in this great dance of grace is a joy and privilege. It is incredible that the God of the Universe desires to partner with us and use us. He chose us before the foundation of the world to be His hands and feet on earth. God’s grace compels us to work together with Him and live a life that reflects His goodness and character.
“Therefore we also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power, that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.” 2Thess. 1:11-12 NKJV
We can dance through life, moving to the rhythms of His grace and flowing with Him as we accomplish His plans and purposes. As we take part in this great dance of partnering with Him, His Name is glorified in us. So today, will you partner with Him in this dance of grace?
But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. 1Cor 15:10 NIV
